I put my Silhouette to work yesterday, and did ALOT of cutting. I learned first hand that this little machine can get overheated...LOL!
This first card is one I did to send my Ex as a sympathy card. His brother, and best friend, passed away last Saturday. Since we ( my ex and I ) are friends, I want him to know I am thinking of him at his time of loss! I thought the birds in brown and blue was very masculine looking. I got the cut file free at MamasLegacy. She has some GORGEOUS cut files in various formats, so if you have a cutter, be sure to check her out!!
This second card I made with my Grandmother in mind. My daughter and I are leaving for Iowa ( HOME) on Thursday morning, and Friday will be my Grandma's 88th Birthday. I wanted something pretty and summery for her card, and I think this one fits the bill. The butterfly frame was cut and layered, and the center piece was done on the CuttleBug and watercolored. I cut 2 of this frame at the same time to save paper, and WOW, did the poor machine get overheated! I love that it knows when to take a break, though, so it doesn't get burned out.

I have some more goodies in the works today. My friend, Cindy, has talked me into another DT try out, so today I have to create a card for that. I hope everyone has a BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY! It is sunny and warm here today in NW Arkansas, so I hope you are all having the same weather where you are!! Enjoy your day~
