Lavendar Tilda

I needed a Birthday card, so this is the result. I had the little Tilda already colored, so I just needed to make her into a card. I got out my new punch from SU...I have been dying to use it...and started. This card qualifies for a few challenges this week, so I took it from there.

Crafty Cardmakers - Feminine

Kaboodle Doodles - Birthday Card

Ooh La La - Anything Goes

Belli Challenge - Eyelets

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. I haven't accomplished much of what I hoped to, but I guess, that is OK as I feel all rested up and ready for the week ahead. Have a wonderful Monday, and thank you for stopping by!

A Couple Just Because

Yesterday, my friend, Cindy, and I were just gabbing and creating. She found the cutest card on a blog..sorry, don't remember where, so we thought it would be FUN to case the card. This is the result. I used my new SU set, Trendy Trees. Oy, I need to practice my 2 step stamping...LOL!

Today we are taking a bit of a break to watch the Olympics.... particularly the U.S.A. vs. Canada Hockey game. Cin is a MAJOR hockey fan, and Canadian, and I love to watch a good hocky game, and American! Needless to say, this will be a good FUN game for us to watch. Hey, at least the Gold and Silver will BOTH be in North America, right?

Anyhoo, another little "project" we played with yesterday, was to make "Puffy Flowers". HERE is the link. I have seen these little cuties all over Blogland, and wanted to do them for a while, so Cindy sent me the link and said get on it...LOL! She made some, too, and I hope she will post her card made with it as well. ( As soon as I finished this post, I checked Cindy's Blog and her card is there...check it out HERE. )For mine I used newspaper...3 small and 7 large scallopped circles. SO EASY to make...if you like the look of them, DO give them a try!

Well, I am headed back to the game, and to make some some cards with images I have had colored for a while. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by!

Sunny Get Well

Well, I had a vision in my head lastnight after cruising the weekly challenges at The Daily Dare,

so I was up 'til 3 am finishing this one. LOL!

I was inspired by the challenge at Paper Make- Up. Such a pretty picture with flowers and butterflies, this stamp came to mind immediately. I decided to add a few other challenges in there as well...yes I LOVE to do challenges, they get my motivated when I have NO motivation. The other challenges used in this card are:

Daring Card Makers - Here comes the Sun

Friday Sketchers - Sketch

Creative Card Crew - Get Well Soon

Pile It On - Get Well Card

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday! Thanks so much for stopping by!

GlitterFly

Happy Friday! I actually got 2 cards made tonight, so YAY!! This first is one I have been wanting to do. I LOVE this butterfly, and have never done it in blue, so that was the plan...mission accomplished!

This is done using the Papertake Weekly sketch. I thought it was such a neat sketch, and I know I will use it again!

Along with the sketch, there are several other Challenges it qualifies for as well.

Paper Sundaes - Distressing

The Corrosive Challenge - Wings

Flutter By Wednesday - Wings

Belli Challenge - Butterflies or Dragonflies

I hope you all like this semi-monochromatic card as I really enjoyed making it!

The second card I made was one done for the Pink Elephant sketch. I used an adorable Digi Stamp by Dustin Pike...isn't he just too cute? Again, this card also falls into a few of the weekly challenges.

I Love Digi - A digi and Pink

Twisted Thursdays - Birthday card and use Pink

Cute Card Thursday - Ribbon

Charisma Cards - Birthday Card with a Candle

My niece has a birthday soon, so this will be perfect for her. Have a FABBY weekend, and I will see you tomorrow with something new! Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Tilda

I know it seems as though I have been away forever...it sure feels like it! I hope to get back into the groove of things. It was a toughie when Mom passed, but life and crafting MUST go on. My dear friend, Cindy, has been trying to get me inspired and get the Mojo flowing again, and it is working! Bless your heart, Kiddo!!

This card is one I made for the Just Magnolia Challenge this week, which was the sketch and Stamp Something which was to create something Springy...I think this looks like Spring. Lastly would be Totally Gorjuss which was to use flowers...think I have a few of those...LOL!

This was FUN and I got to play with my flowers and pearls. And of course, my beloved watercolors...LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great tomorrow!

Hedgie Love

Are these just the cutest little Hedgehogs? They are a digi stamp available at Karen's Doodles. She has some ADORABLE digis just waiting to be made into cards!!
This card is made using various challenges for this week. They include:

Tuesday Morning Sketchs - sketch
Crafty Cardmakers - Hearts and Romance
Chrisma Cards - I Love You
Papertake Weekly - Love Actually
ABC Challenge - N is for NEW
The Pink Elephant - All About Pink
By The Cute And Girly - LOVE

This was so much fun to make. I used chalks to color the hedgies, watercolors for the grass and blue "sky", and markers for the flowers and hearts. I also put a little glitter on the hearts...gotta have some BLING! Finished them off with some wide ribbon and Primas.
Hope you all enjoy!
Have a FABBY FRIDAY! Thanks for stopping by!

Cute Little Valentine

Isn't this the cutest little image? I got it at The Greeting Farm...it is a digi-stamp! I only have a couple of the adorable Anyas, so when I saw this one available as a digi, I jumped on it! And it makes a darn cute Valentine, too!

This card works for a couple of challenges, as well as being cute! The first is the Stamping 411 Challenge which was to use the sketch. Next was one of my Fave challenge spots- Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. Their challenge was to make a valentine and/or use hearts....think I got that one...LOL! And lastly, also to use hearts was the challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge.

These little cuties will go out for a Valentine swap I am in...hope they like them! Have a FABBY week! Thanks so much for stopping by~
