October at Merry Christmas Challenge

Good Morning! Today this beauty is part of The Merry Christmas Challenge.

I dug out one of my favorite Stampin' Up sets from way back when, and 

some actual ink and watercolors!! 

I adore non-traditional colors at Christmas, and blue and brown

is cone of my favorite combos!!

Happy Sunday!!  I hope everyone has had a Fabby weekend. We

here in Iowa got our first snowfall. Melted as it hit the ground,

BUT OMGosh snow!!

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I wanted to show 

support for those fighting the fight. have lost the fight and those lucky

Poinsettias and glitter, thus this creation!!  I did the Merry Christmas circle

in Paint Shop Pro and I am really happy how it came out for a first attempt.

I Remember

Happy Wednesday! Today at The Merry Christmas Challenge, our alternate

theme is Memories. I have used this image for my card because it reminds

me of Christmases when I was young. Going to Grandma's on Christmas Eve,

with the snow and playing in the front yard before dinner. We did that after 

Grandpa and I delivered Christmas meals for Meals on Wheels...I loved visit-

ing all of the people ( usually elderly ) and getting to sing a Christmas song

for them. It made us all happy!!

Good Morning! Today's card was  made for this week's challenge at 

Merry Christmas Challenges. Although an Anything Goes Challenge,

alternate is to make a Christmas card for a Teacher!!  Being the organized

( cough) person I am, I do not know this little gal's name, but I do know 

she is a Penny Black image...isn't she a cutie?

It's A Bird

Good Morning!  Today is the last day of school here in my hometown...not that

it affects me, my daughter is an adult, but we need to keep an eye out for kids

in the streets again!!

Christmas Gift Card

Today I have made a Christmas Gift Card Holder for this week's 

challenge at The Merry Christmas Challenge.  Even though the 

Challenge is Always Anything Goes ( which in most cases are 

my favorite kind ) I have been really enjoying following the 

Weekly Option. Obviously this week it is Gift Card Holder...LOL!

I find I don't use my Silhouette often enough, so it was fun to put some

paper in her, and create!
