I found this Card Holder Tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers, and thought it would be a great way to send note cards home to Grandma! Super simple, and so pretty!

EXCITING NEWS!!!

Good Morning! I hope everyone has been having a GREAT weekend~

This week at Come and Get It Challenges, Leslie has challenged us to make a Z-fold or Double Z-fold card. This is a first for me, and I must admit, I love it! It is super simple, and it gave me a chance to use 3 of my new co-ordinating Designer Papers from My Mind's Eye. I used a belly band rather than a ribbon to hold the card closed. I hope you will all join us this week, and give this a try...it is FUN and EASY!

Happy Sunday, Stampers! This week at Come and Get It , I am hosting a  Sketch Challenge. I just LOVE this stamp set from SU...it is called Fresh Vintage. 

 I  colored the stamp with markers, then stamped on to Whisper White. The circle is cut in the Baja Breeze and then glued it on to the Melon Mambo before running it through my CuttleBug, using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I added the buttons and sentiment, and was done.

Magical Birthday

I just couldn't resist~ I have had this sweet little wizard printed for quite a while, and when I saw the Stella Sketch, over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog,  I knew he had to be colored up and used! I colored him with my Prismacolor Water Color Pencils and an aqua brush then layered him up. The sentiment is computer generated. The purple strip behind Mr. Wizard was made with small star punches glued onto the purple strip, then ran thru the Cuttlebug. I just HAD to get more stars in there somewhere...LOL!

Happy Bird

A while back I came across this ADORABLE little bird by Doodle Pantry name Happy Bird! I fell in LOVE and had to have him~ There is a Freebie, as well as a Set you can purchase! I used my Watercolor Pencils to color Mr. Happy, and then had to go searching for DPs to match...LOL! I used an OLD stack I have been hoarding because I just loved this green plaid! I know, can't enjoy it if I don't use it! I just layered him up and voila-

Colorful Challenge

Happy Easter!!  This week at Come and Get It Challenges,we are celebrating our 1st Anniversary and Cindy is hosting a Color Challenge.  Our color palette this week is Soft Plum, Soft Aqua, and Soft Olive. They work SO beautifully together! I dug out my old SU set Priceless. It makes such a light, whimsical card....
